MEMBERSHIP


A large and vibrant membership is vital to the health of the Society. Please maintain your status as a financial member so that we can have surety to plan the work of the Society, and help us to grow the membership base. With a larger membership the Society can plan to improve the print quality and marketing of Fabrications and to begin a programme of regional events and specialised publications. In addition, as a member you will receive complimentary copies of Fabrications and will be offered a discount to the annual conference.

Conference presenters, and others with refereed papers published in the conference proceedings, are expected to be members of the Society.

There are several membership categories:

  • Ordinary
  • Student
  • Benefactor
  • Honorary
  • Life

    • Honorary memberships are awarded in acknowledgment of contribution to the field of architectural history in Australasia. Life memberships are awarded in acknowledgment of contribution to the Society.
    Architectural practices and heritage consultancies are able to join as a 'Body Corporates' at either an Ordinary or Benefactor member rate. Body Corporate members receive a subscription to Fabrications and are able to nominate a staff member to attend the conference at a member rate.


    Membership Fees


    Membership is on a 1 July-30 June year basis.

    Rates for 2012/13 are:

  • New members and renewals: $90 AUD
  • Full-time student/ concession rate: $60 AUD
